Garden Gate Scenes

 Hello Everyone

Wanted to share more of the cards I have been working on for months.  Most of them went to my BFFs and I kept a few.  This is a collection of cards featuring a garden scene. I used one stamp set and varied how I stamped the images on the cardstock.  I used lots of different colors and just kept stamping and stamping.

Stamp and Die set: Grace's Garden from Stampin' Up

All cards are colored with watercolor markers.

Cards 1 - 3 are all stamped directly on the white cardstock.  I used a mask to stamp the fence behind the flowers.

On the 4th card I die cut the gate and all the flowers.  I created a background with green cs for the ground and blue for the sky.

I do have a few more of the garden scene cards which I will post next time.  Hope you are enjoying the cards and that they evoke feelings of Spring.

Lovely Garden Gate

 Hello Everyone

Wanted to share more of the cards I have been working on for months.  Most of them went to my BFFs and I kept a few.  This is a collection of cards featuring a garden scene. I used one stamp set and varied how I stamped the images on the cardstock.  I used lots of different colors and just kept stamping and stamping.  I did get carried away. (Are we surprised??  Not) LOL.  But there was a lot of scope with this stamp set and each one looks unique.

Really fun cards to make.  I will back in the next post with more of my garden scene cards.

Hope you are having a great day!!

Floral Cards with Embossed and Die Cut Backgrounds

 Hello My Crafting Friends,

I am back with a few more of the cards I have been industriously making over the last several months.

On the cards below I have used the Beautifully Happy Stampin' Up stamp again.

Card 1: I dry embossed white cardstock for the background.

Card 2 and 3: I used a die from Spellbinders to die cut the hem stitch design on white cardstock.  I used a plum distress ink on the white CS to color.

This card uses yellow distress ink to color the white cardstock background.

On the last card, I used peach cardstock for the background and completed the card in the same manner as the others.

Again, a nice set of all occasion cards.  I will keep a couple and the rest I will send out to my BFFs.

So glad you stopped in today.  See you again soon.

Floral with Die Cut Backgound

Hello Everyone

Today I would like to share more of the cards I have been making lately.  The cards showcase a floral image added to a die cut background.  I am afraid I really got carried away making this design.  I just wanted to see how it looked in every color.  LOL.  But the upside is that I ended up with lots of beautiful cards.

Floral stamp, Beautifully Happy, is from Stampin' Up

Pink Tulle was added as an embellishment on most of the cards.

Die cut is from Sizzix

Looks great in any color.  I took inspiration from a design I saw on a Stampin' Up blog.  I changed it a bit with the addition of the tulle and a different die cut.

I think the cards could even be used for a wedding celebration.  I will add sentiments to the cards I keep for myself as I need them. The rest of the cards will go to my BFFs.

So happy you stopped by today.  I will be back next time with another set of cards made with this same stamp and a different background.

Hope you are having a lovely day!!

Ferns and Florals

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a great day. I have been making lots of cards lately. Most will go to friends that need cards to send out.  I always make extras for myself too. I find it so fun to just get the creativity going and make a stack of cards.  I have a few new stamp sets that I want to try out too.  Everybody is happy. LOL

I made hand stamped backgrounds for all of the cards. The first card has a script stamped background which was distressed with inks.

Stamps: All from Stampin' Up except large script which is from AMuse stamps

The second card has the script stamping with more distressing with distress inks.

On the next card I used smaller stamps to create the background and then large leaf designs were stamped.  And then I did the distressing.

This card uses different stamps with the same technique.  I continued the red and pink color scheme and added some purple.

The cards were fun to make and will make great all occasion cards.  You may have noticed that there are no sentiments on the cards.  My BFF did not want any sentiments.  She said that then she could use any card for any occasion.  She will write a message on the inside.

So glad you topped by today.  See you next time!!

Happy St Patrick's Day

 Hello Everyone

I wanted to make a quick post today to share a few St Patty's Day cards I made for friends and family.

I started with a green color scheme, of course.  The sentiment was stamped with green ink, die cut, layered, and added to card front.  Beer mugs were stamped, die cut, and added with dimensional adhesive.

Supplies used:
Green cardstock and decorative papers from Stampin' Up
Green doily
Green pearls
Green ribbons
Stamps: Beer mugs from Stampin' Up, Humorous sentiment from Funny Bones
Die cuts

Hope you are enjoying a mug of green beer to celebrate the day!  Irish blessing to you!!

So glad you stopped by today and I will be soon with more cardmaking ideas.

Happy Valentines Day!!

 Hello Everyone

                              Happy Valentines Day!!

I made some cards to send out to friends and family.  I did case the Milkshake card from the internet.

The stamps and dies are from Stampin' Up.

The gold squares on the first card are the "waste" from die cutting the basket weave on the background in gold. I layered the gold paper over adhesive sheets to make adhering easier.  And the little squares were just so cute, I could not throw them away.  LOL

Stamp and punch for this card is Country Bouquet from SU.

I did some heat embossing on the hearts and sentiment with gold embossing powder.

Stamp and die set Share A Milkshake from SU

Stamp and punch Country Bouquet from SU.

This one is more on the masculine side.

So happy you stopped by today.  See you next time!
